An Invitation to Remember Who You Are

This poem I wrote as an offering and affirmation to someone I loved many moons ago. I came across it again recently and would like to share it now as an invitation to other women, as well as to the feminine in myself.
I hope the woman I sent it to back then won’t mind me sharing it with others now:

Dear woman of mystery and paradox
Come out of the shadows now
Bubble up like fountains of light
And shine away your fears

Celebrate your perversity
Sing loud to the earth and sky
Howl at the dark moon shadow
And flow in your watery way

Come to the sacred table
Eat of the fruits of your life
Drink long then touch and heal
With your intuitive hands

Offer your wise woman widely
Go joyfully to the lake
And share with those rare swimmers
In the wisdom deep waters
